ACH is one of only four SCFS 4K programs in Greenville County and is available to families who are already enrolled at ACH or who are in the process of being enrolled.

A Child’s Haven launched a 4K program in collaboration with South Carolina First Steps (SCFS)
The new 4K program currently serves 8 children with plans to expand to 16 in the Summer. The SCFS 4K program adds a traditional academic component to our Therapeutic Child Care and further ensures their success when they enter a public school classroom. ACH Program Director, Coraretta Smalls, leads the initiative with support from other clinical staff at our facility.
The program includes:
One classroom at A Child’s Haven with eight children.
Qualified, trauma informed staff.
Therapeutic approach to learning including daily lesson plans following the Creative Curriculum provided by SC First Steps.
