Volunteering is an integral part of our work at A Child’s Haven, and the experience is something truly special. You get to take part in the transformation of a child and his or her family. In the process, we think you’ll be transformed as well.
Whether you prefer to work directly with young children, with families, or want to help out around the center, we have a place for you.
There are a number of ways that you can give your time to A Child’s Haven. Explore the options below to find an opportunity that fits your schedule and interests.

The first step is easy! Just fill out our Volunteer Application form and send it to rebekahm@achildshaven.org. After your application is received and reviewed, she will contact you to discuss volunteer opportunities and the next steps in the volunteer application process.
We work with volunteers that are 18 and older. Adult supervised school groups can have volunteers 12 and older.
Our office hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. We currently do not have regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities outside of our office hours, however volunteers are occasionally needed to assist with special events and projects in the evenings or on weekends. Please send special request for weekend volunteer opportunities to rebekahm@achildshaven.org to check available schedule.
