Help a Child Find Their Smile

Volunteering is an integral part of our work at A Child’s Haven, and the experience is something truly special. You get to take part in the transformation of a child and his or her family. In the process, we think you’ll be transformed as well.

Whether you prefer to work directly with young children, with families, or want to help out around the center, we have a place for you.

There are a number of ways that you can give your time to A Child’s Haven. Explore the options below to find an opportunity that fits your schedule and interests.

Volunteer Finds Meaning at A Child’s Haven

“I started volunteering at A Child’s Haven almost two years ago through the Heller Service Corps at Furman University. At first I was only volunteering during the parent groups. I loved getting the chance to give these children individualized attention and play with them.

I noticed how incredible the staff members were with the kids and how much of a difference A Child’s Haven made in their lives. I watched the children grow and mature over time and I wanted to be more of a part of this wonderful organization. Today, I also volunteer in therapeutic settings and am a regular field trip volunteer.

The opportunities that A Child’s Haven provides for these children at such a young age are unique and so cool, but also help teach them valuable skills.

A Child’s Haven has such an incredible mission and such talented staff members that I consider myself fortunate to be able to be a part of it.”
